| God is Love 1 John 4:16 "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." God loves you more than you could ever know. He is always with us. Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Jeremiah 31:3 "The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness." Isaiah 40:11 "He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." He knows everything about you. He knows what you are going through. All things are known to God from the beginning to the end of time. Gods' son Jesus went through the same problems and temptations as you when he was on earth. Hebrews 4:15 "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet was without sin." Isaiah 46:4 "Even to your old age and gray hairs. I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." Matthew 10:30-31 "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Psalms 34:18 "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." God provides a way out of temptations that we all face in our lives. In everyone's life there are good and bad times. God supports us always, even if it seems like he isn't there. Deuteronomy 31:8 "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; James 1:13-15 "When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." Deuteronomy 31:8 "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Psalms 25:9 "He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way." Isaiah 30:18 "Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!" God loves all people no matter who they are. Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew or Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Psalms 145:9 "The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made." 1 John 1:5 God is light; in him there is no darkness at all." Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us," 2 Corinthians 1:5 "For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows." |
